The Demurely Charitable Lady Gaga

Looking as if on her way to her idea of Sunday mass, Lady Gaga made an appearance in her home city of New York for the launching of her Born This Way Foundation.
Rushing to create her very own We Are the World foundation, Lady Gaga after less than a few years on the scene, is commanding the world's pocketbooks.
Teaming up with Harvard University's Graduate School of Education, she is furthering the plight for bullied children everywhere.

Certainly noble work, so we're so glad she took the time to look appropriate and aware of her surroundings along with the winter climate. Even her glasses seem to have formed icicles of their own very own. Albeit, the Lady proved to be the type to put her money where her mouth is; she donated $1.2 million personally, putting speaker at the event, Oprah, to shame. I am sure she racked up those coins from tweet-earnings alone, but still, it's the thought that counts. It is much better than her generating the funds from gyrating her nether-regions on stage.

Politics and Fashion?

We thought only Michelle Obama's fashion was getting media attention but not anymore.

The campaign fashion is getting some time in the limelight now as a part of President Obama's sly secret campaigning.
Fashion baroness Anna Wintour of Vogue USA has reached out to designers like Beyonce, Marc Jacobs, Sean John, Vera Wang, Diane von Furstenberg and 15+ others to design Obama campaign merchandise. Of course they're over-priced, but the worse part is that most of them are just plain pouches and bags with a sticker pasted on them. If these designers were paid, there is injustice in this world.
Most of the designs are in fact grade school and thrown together. Check out the store to see them all.
If the President is going to appeal to the fashion lovers by attaching a bunch of designers' names to some give-away-quality items, then he's a smarter man than we thought. I mean people buy TERRIBLE clothing just because of the label all the time, so I guess they'll probably vote that way too.

Stud quota met?

Studs are making a come back in popular fashion. Since 2010 we've seen more and more studs and spikes creeping into the fashion collections of Sam Edelman, Christian Louboutin and countless others. As a matter of fact, Louboutin's pre-spring/summer 2012 collection features two show-stopper pumps in gold and brown. Check them out on Vogue's UK website. They're excellent for a cocktail party and are the perfect accessory during any downtown mugging.
There is a point though that you draw the line when it comes to metal adornments whether you get them in a store or attach them yourself.

When your foot wear looks like it's contracted some horrific disease and is more suitable for the pages of Gray's Anatomy than a fashion magazine, you might have gone overboard.
The point of the spike is to show that you're a badass and to give you a bit of an edge, but these shoes are a travesty. The Barbie heads are a charming touch as well.
